This thesis project will be a hybrid between a tattoo shop and cafe, the intention of this project is to introduce a new inclusive design to tattoo studios that would not only provide a stimulating and inviting environment to guests of tattoo clients but create a welcoming space for all who enter the environment. Recently the tattoo experience has become that of a group outing. This design would combine a tattoo shop with a cafe that allows clients to get the best experience out of their appointment. With this design, the tattoo shop would consider where guests can hangout without disrupting the sterile environment of a tattoo shop and can then have a space to spend long hours waiting for their party to finish with their appointment. The design also takes into account the advice of tattooers to clients that one should be well nourished before tattoo appointment to have the best experience necessary and stay safe during what can be a hardship on the human body. The cafe part of this design would include nourishing foods and drinks to keep shop goers healthy and prepared for their day and experience while also keeping guests satisfied.
